Hello sir..could it be possibly for me to apply for the live-in caregiver program? Actually,i've already got a job in edmonton right now for more than a month( temporary foreign worker). I am working in a cold storage which is quite not good for me,that is why i am seeking for another job.I do have experience working as caregiver in my country before and i have a certificate of caregiving from the school where i've been way back 2005. What will i do sir to be one of those aspiring applicants wishes to work as a live-in caregiver? Thank you and hoping for your immediate respond regarding this matter!

The best way to find work as a caregiver is to look through the job ads posted on-line; you can start with the National Job Bank (http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/prov-eng.aspx? ... 0&Stdnt=No) - choose the province and after that enter Caregiver in the box where it says: "Search text: (Leave empty to see all jobs)".

That way you will find hundreds of job ads for live-in caregivers.

When you find an employer they will have to apply for an LMO for you (I can help them with their application for LMO) and once they have secured LMO for you then you will have to apply for a work permit (I can help you with that application as well).

You can have two work permits at the same time.
